**Edmeston, New York, July 16, 2026 ...** Pathfinder Village will roll out the welcome mat for the Big Rig Cruise-In on **Tuesday, August 4, 2026,** from 5 to 8 p.m., bringing together classic cars, big trucks and emergency vehicles, free family fun, ice cream, face painting and live entertainment for a colorful summer evening. Admission is free, and all are welcome.

## The event combines two Pathfinder favorites: the Big Rig Shindig, with hands-on displays of working vehicles, equipment, and hometown helper rigs, and the NYCM Cruise-In, featuring area car restorers’ vintage vehicles. Combined, the events will create an evening of chrome, character, and color for children, car and truck enthusiasts, Villagers, and community guests.

## Volunteers will serve free Gilligan’s of Sherburne ice cream with all the toppings, including Pathfinder’s signature flavor, *Pathfinder Palooza*, now a Village favorite. Guests will enjoy classic music hits with a special performance by Elvis tribute artist Don Brown and watch a balloon lift-off with The Balloon Detail of Norwich, weather permitting. A food truck will also be on-site with items available for purchase.

## Businesses, public agencies, farms, community groups, heavy equipment owners, and classic car owners are invited to join the fun with a working vehicle, equipment display, restoration project, or business exhibit. Exhibitors will give children a close-up look at the machines and careers that keep communities moving while sharing their services and community spirit.

## “This will be a wonderful summer evening for families, vehicle enthusiasts, and our entire community,” said Monica Clark, Director of the Pathfinder Village Foundation. “Children can explore working vehicles, ask questions, and learn about community helpers, while guests can enjoy classic cars, free ice cream, great music, and Pathfinder’s beautiful setting.”

## Registration for the Big Rig working vehicles has been extended. Forms and details are available on the Pathfinder
