Pathfinder Offers Over 21! Community Classes this Spring
EDMESTON, NY, March 1, 2018 … Pathfinder Village will offer another fun and engaging semester of OVER 21! classes this spring, running from March through May. Regular classes will focus on physical fitness and arts & crafts, and are open to the entire community. Several courses require pre-registration, and there are modest instructor and materials fees associated with several classes. A registration brochure is available at Pathfinder Village's Bakery or at the Pathfinder website (http://pathfindervillage.org/get-involved/over-21-classes).
“Our Over 21! classes have been very popular with community members, and we feature instructors who are knowledgeable and dedicated to sharing their talents with others,” said Paula Schaeffer, Director of Enrichment Programming. “These classes present opportunities for everyone who would like to learn new skills, or work towards fitness goals, all with coaching and support from fellow class members.”

ZUMBA® |
Zoë Curtis rocks the Pathfinder Gym through ZUMBA®, an energetic combination of fitness moves and Latin dance that offer a fun and creative way to exercise. Wear suitable workout clothes; classes are $5 per session, payable at class. |
YOGA with Tracey March 7 – April 11 |
Certified Instructor Tracey Lippitt of Fly Creek, will lead these sessions of gentle stretching and breathing exercises at the Meeting House. Participants should wear loose clothing, and bring a mat or large towel. Fees are $10 per class, payable at class. |
Hearth Basketry |
Noted basket maker Martha Bremer will show you how to make a versatile hearth basket, which can be used for kindling or as a multi-use carrier. This is a great project for beginners. The class meets at the Pathfinder Village Art Room; course fee covers both classes, including all materials and tools. Pre-registration is required; fee of $50, payable upon registration. A minimum of 8 students is needed. |
Embossed Cards

Join instructor Andrea House in making beautiful embossed cards that you may use to keep in touch with friends and loved ones. Course fee includes all materials and tools. Pre-registration is required; fee of $15, payable upon registration. |
Marbling on Paper |
Make colorful magic happen through this fun class with Pathfinder Art Specialist Diane McNeil. Participants will try different techniques to learn the basics of this historic decorative art. Pre-registration is required; fee of $10, payable upon registration. |
Book Binding

Join Art Specialist Diane McNeil in this artful exploration of traditional book binding techniques. Class participants may use paper from the marbling class as book covers if desired. Pre-registration is required; fee of $10, payable upon registration. |
