A Message From Our CEO

Dear Families and Friends,

Through my first year as the new chief executive of Pathfinder Village, I’ve been absorbed in contemplation of Pathfinder’s motto, “…that each life may find meaning.”^® The personal fulfillment that our individuals achieve here comes shining through when I listen to our Villagers’ deeply personal stories, their reflections and adaptations as they navigate different stages of life.

Our motto touches others as well -- parents, siblings, prospective families, donors, community partners, volunteers, board members -- as they invest in and are enriched through their Pathfinder community experiences. During my year of living at the Village, I too have found meaning as I experienced the belonging and mutual respect that is such a part of Pathfinder’s culture. My “onboarding through immersion” year has given me the necessary time and focus to invest in education, evaluation, and discovery through relationship building and information-gathering from all our stakeholders.

As you will read in our 2024 Management Report, our teams had an incredibly productive and meaningful year, working toward common goals through their talents, expertise, and incredible dedication to the individuals we serve. We are all very excited with the continuing development of The Farmstead Market and Community Center in 2025, the adoption of technology supports for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and the continued growth in competitive employment and other opportunities for participants of our Adult Day Services.

It is a privilege to lead the Village, and our work and workforce continue to exceed my expectations. Thank you to all those who have reached out to me and helped me during my first year at this remarkable organization.
